ROCKCLAD
The unique vapour permeability of Rockwool Rockpanel® products is enhanced by Rockclad's aesthetic finish. Produced for internal and external applications where a high performance cladding is required, its ease of use adds a greater degree of versatility to any specification. Rockclad, is manufactured from stonewool to give the specifier and end user an added margin of safety in the event of a fire. Due to its unique breathability, Rockclad can be used externally in a non ventilated construction to reduce the potential of the chimney effect during a fire (especially when used in conjunction with Rockwool Insulation). Rockclad's vapour permeability also allows the construction to breathe, helping to reduce any potential condensation risk.

ROCKSHIELD
When used in conjunction with wet render systems, such as Rockwool's RockShield external wall insulation systems, different textures in the building's appearance can be achieved. TIMBER FIX Fixed to timber battens, Rockclad provides a simple, adaptable and economic method of cladding, externally or internally. Rockclad can be fixed using screws or nails (colour finished to match) without the need for pre-drilling and can be easily shaped to encompass any construction irregularities. Externally, Rockclad is as suitable for fascias and soffits as it is for cladding where the timber fixings will accommodate insulation placed between the battens to achieve a high thermal performance.

WEIGHT
Rockclad is lower in weight than many cladding boards making it easier to install. Suitable for all exposure areas, Rockclad is a cost-effective, "low maintenance" cladding alternative to painted plywood or brick. Rockclad is produced in various thicknesses, board sizes of 3050 and 2500mm length x 1200mm width and a range of standard colours.

GRAFFITI PROOF
An anti graffiti finish is available which has the added advantages of even greater "self cleaning" and scratch resistant characteristics.
